Current Events Project Due Friday Oct 30th

Use the newspaper and a few articles form the internet (no more than 8 from the internet) if needed to illustrate each of the basic social studies concepts. Your report should include at least one article for each concept. Mount each article on a sheet of paper and include a short statement that explains the connection between the subject of the article and the concept. Your report should have a cover and be assembled in an organized fashion.

· Law- Human rights/ equal rights for women and children/Nature’s moral laws and global ethic
· Democratic governance, with tolerance and honor for the difference and self

Create an authentic piece of Art (poster, diorama, sculpture) that depicts how Peace and Tolerance can be promoted through Laws and Government.
